Hadassah speaks out in Washington, D.C. and around the country on behalf of reproductive freedom, the separation of church and state, the enactment of counterterrorism legislation, and other issues of concern to women and Jews in America.

Throughout our efforts in Washington D.C., Hadassah encourages the strengthening of United States-Israeli relations on all levels.

Hadassah acts against domestic violence by advocating for passage and full funding of the Violence Against Women Act, providing assistance to domestic violence coalitions and battered women's shelters, and by creating innovative awareness programming.

Through a voter registration drive, Hadassah urges women to "get out the vote," even helping those who need it to get to the polls.
