Jewish Education
and SpiritualityThrough training Wheels-Al Galgalim, a fun, mommy-and-me type program, Hadassah is teaching parents (and grandparents) and their young children how to celebrate Shabbat and the Jewish holidays, with crafts for the kids, discussion time for adults, and songs for everyone!
In Ivrit la Hadassah groups around the country, women are learning to read, write, and speak Hebrew, enabling them to participate in synagogue services, help their children or grandchildren with Hebrew schoo homework, and feel connected with Jews in Israel and around the world.
Hadassah has published numerous study guides for use by individuals or study groups on such intriguing topics as Jerusalem, Judaism and ecology, Israeli women's fiction, Jewish thought and observance, Zionism, Bible and Jewish history.
Hadassah publishes one of the most respected and informative magazines of the Anglo-Jewish press.
